Morten Fischer Mortensen is a Biologist and Senior Researcher at The National Museum of Denmark. He is a specialist in Environmental Archeology and has a particular focus on elucidating the natural environments people have lived in over time. Through new archaeological and natural science studies his recent work reveals the extent of a global climate catastrophe in the 500-600 years AD. Morten is the author of a large number of international research articles and popular science publications and an engaged mediator.
