Tobias Cornelius Hinse (DE/DK)

Tobias Cornelius Hinse is an astronomer who received formal education in Germany and Denmark. He was awarded a MSc master’s degree from the University of Copenhagen and moved on to receive a PhD degree from Queens University Belfast/ Armagh Observatory in the UK. Most of his research was performed in South Korea at the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute. Tobias’ main research interests are within Solar System small-body dynamics and extrasolarplanets. Currently, Tobias is working as a research librarian at the University of Southern Denmark working as a subject librarian (physics, astronomy, and astrophysics). In addition, he is engaged in science communication, citizen science activities and research data management (OpenScience / FAIR data).
