In collaboration with Bækvej 9 Stuekoncerter, Kunstrum Fyn invites you to musical celebration of midsummer with Camille Grey and Ise.
Camille grey is a Danish storytelling country singer-songwriter. When Camille Grey enters the stage with her autoharp the listener is invited into a colorful universe of stories. You can expect a set list with catchy melodies and captivating lyrics that make you feel alive as Camille’s fervent voice embraces the stories and the audience. Camille Grey`s side woman is Tårupianer Sidsel Nørgaard-Nielsen playing the guitar and mandolin.
Ise is a Danish songwriter, releasing her first album Kø in 2013 with songs revolving around our adventure seeking attitude inspired by her dad, who loves to travel to the outskirts of the world, while her mom is at home with a contrasting urge to visit small Danish cities. In 2017 Ise is the lead vocalist on Lindring’s indie pop album Giv tid, a collection of alternative versions of songs from Den Danske Højskolesangbog. In 2019 Ise releases the album Født på kanten focusing more on poetry and live sound with inspiration from Trille and Nick Cave. In 2022 she released the single Halvdrømt where she even more draws on the logic of the poem rather than the tradition of lyrics.
