Become a Volunteer at Tårup Dark Sky Festival

Would you like to contribute to Tårup Dark Sky as a volunteer before and/or during the festival? Sign up via kunstrumfyn@gmail.com.

The Nordic art and science festival Tårup Dark Sky is now open to applications for volunteering positions. The festival takes place between 31 August - 3 September 2023 and is organised and facilitated by Kunstrum Fyn. The programme offers concerts, podwalk, art exhibition, workshops, lectures, seminar, conversations, performances, and film screenings.

As a volunteer at Tårup Dark Sky you will be an essential part of the festival by helping out with some of the following: serving drinks and food, ticketing, parking, setting up technical equipment, guiding visitors, cleaning up, transportation, and all of the other little details which make a festival run smoothly.

When you sign up you can ask for specific assignments and dates. You will be served  food and drinks for free while you work and you will have a free festival pass of course. If you need accommodation you need to organise it yourself. Tenting is possible.  As a bonus, all volunteers are invited to a special party hosted by Kunstrum Fyn later this year.

Tårup Dark Sky is inspired by the dark night sky of Tårup and will combine art with science and a sustainable profile.

Nordic artists are invited to Tårup to develop art projects in close relation to both exterior and interior surroundings. Combined with lectures, workshops and more by Nordic scientists, this festival will offer a high-quality interdisciplinary programme.

It is the ambition of the festival to become the leading meeting place in the North for artists, scientists and audiences who seek to expand their knowledge about the universe and to investigate how to create a better and more sustainable future together.

If you are interested in contributing to this exciting and groundbreaking festival, please do not hesitate to contact us. Send an email to: kunstrumfyn@gmail.com.
