Dark Sky at Park Bio during Art Matter Festival

Dark Sky was a Nordic performance program curated by Crispin Gurholt and Helga-Marie Nordby as part of Art Matter Festival Thursday 30 May, in collaboration with Foyer Contemporary.
“In the cinema's black space, voices, sound, text, and images are woven together in a poetic amalgamation between three Nordic artists who seek connections between humans, nature, and the cosmos.”

Maria Dorothea Schrattenholz's (NO) worldly portal invites you into a post-apocalyptic and utopian landscape that weaves science-fiction, nature, and climate change into an artistic narrative.
Sami artist Matti Aikio (FI) is combining moving images, sound, and photography in a sensual exploration of indigenous people's relative worldviews and notions of time and space.

Mads Borre's (DK) elegant and hypnotic spoken-word performance is a close reading of micro- and macrocosmic clashes in the universe, in people and language.
The program also included a conversation between the artists and curators.
